Polish Dermatological Society
Fullerenes recommended by the PTD for post-treatment therapies.
Biological fullerenes — the molecules on which AURONN® cosmetics are based — are named in the official Recommendations of the Polish Dermatological Society as an ingredient recommended for post-treatment therapy and skin care.
What the recommendation says
- Fullerenes are among the strongest antioxidants and are described as “radical sponges” — they strongly capture reactive oxygen species (ROS).
- Side effects after laser procedures — redness and inflammatory reaction — can be reduced by using fullerene, which limits oxidative damage to the skin.
- Fullerenes can be used in post-treatment therapy.
- By reducing inflammation, they are recommended in the therapy and care of acne vulgaris.
“Fullerenes can be used in post-treatment therapy and, by reducing inflammation, are also recommended in the therapy and care of acne vulgaris.”
